End of 8th grade

me and my best guy!! I love this kid more than I can say!!! He is the JOY of my life!! High School next year...UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! He's 6" taller than me and wears a size 11.5 shoe. He's so smart and funny and awesome to be around!!!

He got an award for writing a paper for the Veteran's Of Foreign Affairs....he got two savings bonds. He won out of 1,500 papers in the region. He also won this award last year. He is a great writer but would hate if he knew I said that.


so proud of our boy!!! Ended the year with a 4.0!!!!!! and he's handsome...he's the total package!!!!!

Memorial weekend

Memorial Day hanging out at the cemetery in the freezing downpour...our tradition is to go and have quarter pounders with cheese and chocolate donuts there with grandpa Jim, they were his favorite.

we also went up to see G & G Geilmann's grave. They have a beautiful spot in the cemetery.

I'm the luckiest momma in the world!!!!

Colt made dinner for us on Mother's Day...we had ribs, shrimp, and salad. He is a great cook and loves to do it, even better. Maybe he'll be a famous chef someday.

5K race...woo hoo

1st 5K race....The hospital sponsored this race. My goals....run the whole way and finish in under 45 minuted, both of which I did. YEAH me!!!! I've never been a runner and always wanted to be so when I turned 40 I decided what the heck...I'll try it!! I'm addicted!!!

March Madness

I've been kindof obsessed with puzzles lately...this one was 1,500 pieces and VERY hard..it took forever..I was super excited to finish it.
Ash bought Jason a steak brand and grill for his birthday last year...Colt made us bbq'ed chicken for dinner.

Ash was in a choir class last semester..for her final they had to perform solos in a concert. Her teacher chose "I Dreamed a Dream" from Le Mes for her to sing. She did such a great job!! Enjoy!! apparently the video didn't download and after 4 hours, I gave up!!!
